June’s Getaway is a warm, welcoming guest room designed for guests who want their space to feel comforting and familiar from the moment they arrive. It’s soft around the edges, easy to settle into, and especially well suited to longer stays where rest matters as much as routine.
Named for a woman remembered for her warmth and steady kindness, June’s Getaway carries a gentle, grounding presence within the house. Traditional furnishings, layered textiles, and soft lighting give the room a lived-in feel that’s relaxed rather than decorative.
The room features a comfortable queen-sized bed, quality linens, and room-darkening drapes that support rest at any hour. A seating area and generous storage make it practical for guests who want to unpack, spread out, and feel at home during an extended stay.
An in-room kitchenette is set up for quick meals after shift and warming up snacks. It includes a hotel-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, air fryer, and toaster or toaster oven, along with basic dishware, flatware, and simple prep tools. Starter supplies such as paper towels, a dish sponge, and basic cleaning supplies are provided.
Guests have access to a traditional guest bathroom, consistent with the original design of historic homes like the Manor. The bathroom is thoughtfully maintained as part of the household’s regular care and kept clean, orderly, and comfortable for daily use.
Lucy’s Montana Manor operates as a quiet, shared, owner-stewarded home, with each guest having a private room and shared spaces designed for respectful daily living.
June’s Getaway is ideal for guests who value warmth, calm, and a room that feels easy to come home to between shifts.
June, my beautiful paternal grandmother. Her father immigrated from Greece.
She was warm and had a way of making even a stranger feel at home.
At one of their ranches, she’d cook three square meals a day…even feeding the ranch hands.
