Lucy’s Bunkhouse is a private, self-contained space within the Manor designed for guests who want a little more separation while still enjoying the comfort and character of the house. It’s well suited to longer stays, couples, or guests who appreciate having their own living area and bathroom.

Set apart from the other guest rooms, the Bunkhouse feels independent and tucked away. The space is dressed in classic Montana Western style, with original art, cowhide rugs, antique lamps, and thoughtful details throughout. Guests often remark that once inside, it doesn’t feel like a basement at all. It simply feels like Montana.

The sleeping area features a comfortable queen-sized bed, quality linens, and a practical layout that supports rest at any hour. Storage and seating allow guests to unpack fully and settle in for daily living rather than short visits.

The Bunkhouse includes a simple kitchenette designed for everyday meals and warming up food, not full cooking. Amenities include an apartment-size refrigerator, Wolfgang Puck countertop oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric skillet, and crockpot, along with basic dishware, flatware, and simple prep tools. Starter paper goods and cleaning supplies are provided.

The Bunkhouse has its own private bathroom, featuring a large original clawfoot bathtub. The tub is the primary bathing fixture, consistent with the historic character of the home. There is no separate shower.

This space can accommodate travel partners, significant others, and one well-behaved, pre-approved dog, making it a good option for guests who want added flexibility during a longer stay.

Lucy’s Montana Manor operates as a managed, shared home, with private guest rooms and shared spaces elsewhere in the house. The Bunkhouse, however, offers a greater degree of privacy while remaining part of the Manor’s overall rhythm and care.
